The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has recently added two critical vulnerabilities affecting the N-able N-central platform to its official catalog of actively exploited flaws. This means that all U.S. federal agencies are now required to urgently apply the necessary patches to minimize the risk of intrusion.
If left unpatched, the vulnerabilities could allow remote attackers to compromise sensitive systems and gain unauthorized control. This poses a serious threat not only to government agencies but also to private companies relying on N-central for network management.
CISA has emphasized the urgency of applying the security updates provided by the vendor. The agency warns that attackers typically target known but unpatched vulnerabilities, as they represent the easiest and most effective entry points.
This alert serves as a strong reminder that cybersecurity depends on continuous vigilance, timely patching, and close collaboration between solution providers, regulatory authorities, and end-user organizations.
